At Autumn Lodge, events are more than just occasions – they're perfect chances to savour shared experiences, laughter and inclusive fun that bring our incredible community together. With family and friends, we embrace each moment with smiles and happiness, making every date a special one.
Throughout the year, we host a variety of themed events, each one curated to create lasting memories. From our delightful Vintage Tea Party, with Polka-dot dresses and sip tea from fine China amidst the garden's beauty, to our lively Wild West themed Summer BBQ, our mediaeval themed harvest festival and the glitzy Hollywood themed Christmas celebrations, we ensure that every occasion is marked with colour, and sound, that fills our home with warmth and cheer.
Spring
Vintage Tea Party
Come and join us for a 1950s-themed afternoon tea party! We’ll all be wearing polka-dot dresses and straw hats—feel free to dress up and join in. Enjoy some live vintage music in the garden while indulging in cakes and selection of sandwiches.
Summer
Wild West Themed BBQ
It’s time to dust off your Stetsons and polish those cowboy boots! As summer arrives, we seize the sunshine with a traditional barbecue prepared by our chef. We always hope for clear skies, with live music in the garden setting the perfect backdrop.
Autumn
Medieval Harvest Festival
This is one of our favourite events. We invite a folk music band into the main lounge and lay out a grand spread of medieval-themed food in one of our conservatories, complete with a hog roast in the garden. There’s plenty of cider and mead to go around. Feel free to dress up as a nobleman, Maid Marian or Friar Tuck.
Winter
Hollywood Christmas Party
During this festive season, we bring out our DJs and fancy dresses for our Christmas party. Our housekeeping and maintenance teams spend weeks decorating the home for Christmas, making it the perfect setting for a big Christmas bash. Enjoy live music and a fantastic spread put together by our talented chefs.
But our celebrations don't stop there. Every date is an excuse for an event whether it be St. Patrick's Day with Irish dancers, supporting the LGBTQ community at Pride, and raising a sword for St. George's Day. From the traditional reading of the scroll on Burns Night with the accompanying haggis, nips and tatties to the excitement of posh hot dogs and fireworks on Guy Fawkes, every event is a chance for residents to feel part of something special.
It's also about the food! Our loyal catering staff prepare delicious meals and drinks tailored to each occasion, ensuring that every taste is catered to, and every appetite satisfied. Autumn Lodge events are not just events – they're moments of connection, laughter and joy that truly make our community feel like home.
