Meet Christian Bravery, our Director and registered provider at Autumn Lodge. Christian's lifelong immersion in the world of care homes brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the team. Having grown up in a care home from the age of five. With a diverse background across various departments, from care to maintenance and kitchen to management, Christian's leadership is instrumental in cultivating the fantastic warmth and enthusiasm that defines our home. His dedication to excellence and innovative ideas for continued enrichment further reinforce the superb quality of care provided, making certain that Autumn Lodge remains a place where staff and residents of the home can flourish and feel truly at home.

SHANGRI-LA VELASCO
Shangri-La is a treasured member of the Autumn Lodge family who brings not only expertise but also a warmth that touches everyone she meets. During 12 years of valuable time with us, Shangri-La's journey from senior care assistant to her current role reflects a devotion to excellence. As a Registered Nurse, she draws on a rich nursing background that includes community and hospital settings, whilst keeping her skills sharp working part-time at a local hospital. It's this dedication that benefits both the care home and its residents alike, who appreciate her friendly nature, great knowledge and tireless devotion to their wellbeing.

Our Care Deputies are the backbone of our care team, boasting a combined tenure of over 50 years at Autumn Lodge. Offering unfailing support and guidance to our Care Assistant Team, day in and day out, they keep our home running smoothly around the clock. With a collective wealth of experience and complete dedication, our deputies are instrumental in upholding the exceptional quality of care, love, and zest for life, that sets Autumn Lodge apart.
Care Assistants Team
Our team of care assistants is energetic, compassionate, and inventive. They provide personalised care, organise engaging activities, and arrange outings to local coffee shops, museums, or even a beachside ice-cream break. Offering emotional support and demonstrating exceptional knowledge, our care assistants play an essential role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents
Catering Team
Led by our talented head chef, Mark, our catering team diligently manages and monitors residents’ preferences and special dietary requirements. They delight our residents with descriptive milkshakes, freshly baked treats, and more, all while maintaining our five-star “Scores on the Doors” rating, which we have held uninterrupted for the last 15 years.
Everyone Else (It Takes a Village)
Other essential teams within our home contribute to its seamless operation. Our administration team ensures smooth management of the home, oversees recruitment and onboarding of new staff, and handles timely payment of supplier invoices. Meanwhile, our maintenance team keeps everything running smoothly, and our dedicated housekeeping team maintains a clean, tidy, and welcoming environment, ensuring our home always feels inviting and pleasant.
