Our goal is to minimise reliance on medications through regular reviews with our local GP and Dementia Specialist Care Team, ensuring completely personalised care that meets individual needs.

Whether your loved one needs a short break or regular holiday stays, Autumn Lodge can tailor respite services to suit their needs. Many families find that a holiday stay with us can provide valuable insight when considering a long-term placement.

Collaborating with dedicated dementia specialist trainers and organisations like NAPA (the leading UK charity for activity and engagement), we ensure our staff stay up to date on the latest practices and theories. We encourage professional growth and development with important opportunities such as NVQs, creating a well-rounded team capable of providing comprehensive care.
My mother was a resident in Autumn Lodge for 4 years, the care she received during her stay was exceptional. The carers always show such kindness and patience and create a happy home for all the residents. Peace of mind was the greatest gift they gave to me and my family, knowing that my mum was in a safe, loving environment. The home is beautifully furnished and very clean, my mum had a lovely room that was kept spotless. The food is delicious and the sweet trolley a dream. Every afternoon there is entertainment and there is a beautiful secure garden that residents can access themselves. An aviary of budgies provide sweet sounds and Dotty the home dog was a favourite of my mum. The owner and the manager are very approachable and you can tell they truly have great affection for all the residents. I have been to many of the tea parties that they have put on for residents and their families, which were wonderful. I would highly recommend Autumn Lodge.
